The Situation
A leading investment banking firm engaged Satori Consulting to tackle its workplace technology provisioning process. This process was the client’s method for deploying critical business tools (i.e. BlackBerry, desktop, telephone, email, etc.) to current employees and new hires. The legacy process, fragmented and decentralized, consumed excessive time and resources and yielded limited satisfaction from users.

The Satori Solution
Working side-by-side with our client, we first documented the current provisioning process, which revealed significant deficiencies in the client’s methods. To achieve the objective of implementing a standard and efficient process, we developed an automated global workplace provisioning portal, To reduce the cost of the provisioning process, we parterned with the bank to transition segments of the process to Bangalore, India.

Finally, we provided tools – dashboards, work plans, status reports, issues tracking and effective management of the human element of change – positioned the client to deliver the workplace provisioning portal on time and with positive reception from the user community
