Creating a virtual training program to introduce organizational change
Satori Consulting developed an enhanced performance management program and an e-Learning training program to support its implementation across the targeted business lines of an international pharmaceutical corporation.
The Situation
An international pharmaceutical corporation charged its Global Learning and Development group with developing training to support an enhanced performance management program. This enhanced process was to move targeted business lines from a traditional silo environment into a more matrixed, integrated organization.
Traditionally, performance management training had been delivered via a combination of physical, instructor-led sessions with hard copy documentation and remote, real-time sessions. However, training for the enhanced performance management program was expected to be entirely virtual. To that end, Satori was tasked with developing a solution that incorporated all of the training objectives into a single e-platform.
The Satori Solution
To develop the training tool, Satori conducted an extensive review of the client’s legacy performance management program and defined how the enhanced program would be superior to the legacy program. Satori also considered the change management required to launch the new program.
Satori developed the core content of the training program and facilitated numerous working sessions to tailor the content to the specific requirements of key client stakeholders
To ensure a successful e-environment implementation, Satori coordinated efforts with the technical team to build interactive tools that not only conveyed the key message about the newly enhanced performance management processes, but also engaged trainees by using new and cutting-edge training methods
The Results
