Contagion: Fact or Fiction?
The movie Contagion has stirred up tremendous controversy over the likelihood of a pandemic. The fact is our globally connected society and increased mobility has accelerated the opportunity to spread infectious diseases, making us more vulnerable than ever to an outbreak. Fortunately, with proactive proper pandemic crisis response and recovery planning the type of chaos and panic represented in the movie can be avoided.
