The global talent and organizational effectiveness division of a global pharmaceutical company required assistance in redesigning its global talent planning process to support a major organizational restructuring.
We played a pivotal role in supporting the organizational restructuring by leading the redesign of the global talent planning process. This included redesigning the talent assessment tool that helped drive talent planning deeper into the organization and creating training that supported the deployment of the assessment tool. We also developed a refreshed executive leadership scorecard with meaningful analytics and “a story to tell” about the “health of talent” of each business. Our team managed data and input gathering, global key stakeholder validation, liaising to gather consensus with multiple divisions, and successful development and delivery of communications to manage change.
We helped the client achieve its goals and successfully operationalize its new strategy. The new strategy resulted in an improved talent planning process/supporting tool that was embedded widely throughout the company, benefiting 33,000 colleagues. It also enhanced reporting to the executive leadership, providing them with improved insight into the state of talent with the business.
