A technology solutions group in the human resources organization of a global financial services firm wanted to provide effective and timely oversight for vendor populations and support the implementation of various technology-related projects. The client needed project management support to ensure that vendor risks were remediated in a timely manner and that the various ongoing implementations continued according to schedule.
The Satori Solution
To facilitate the tracking of ongoing vendor risks and offer greater transparency on how quickly client personnel were addressing these risks, we developed an inventory of risks and actions and worked with stakeholders to ensure data quality. We also supported various technology solution implementations that were at various stages of development by identifying project scope and approach, drafting scope and requirements documents, and tracking progress. Our team helped the client with multiple vendor selection initiatives by defining the assessment criteria and serving as an evaluators during vendor demonstrations. Finally, we helped the client respond to an internal audit group’s request to define an important, recurring business process by drafting business process documents and ensuring stakeholder agreement.
We successfully kicked off the technology implementation and kept the ongoing implementations progressing apace. The inventory we created allowed the client to better organize vendor risks and facilitated future data analysis.
